Construction of a Court building at Raigad-Alibaug, Mauje Mahad Taluka, Raigad District, Cornerstone Ceremony of the building .
In Mouje Mahad, Taluka Mahad, District Raigad, construction work of the Judicial Building is being undertaken. The foundation stone ceremony of this building was held in an enthusiastic atmosphere at the auspicious hands of Hon. Justice Shri Bhushan R. Gavai, Supreme Court, New Delhi, Hon. Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde, and Hon. Chief Justice Shri Alok Aradhe, High Court, Mumbai. The program was graced by the presence of Hon. Smt. Aditi V. S. Tatkare, Minister for Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra, Hon. Shri Bharat Gogawale, Minister for Employment Guarantee Scheme, Horticulture, Salinity Prevention and Development, Government of Maharashtra, as well as Hon. Justice Shri Makarand Subodh Kanak, High Court, Mumbai. The ceremony was chaired by Hon. Justice Shri Milind M. S. Sathaye, High Court, Mumbai. Also present on the occasion were Hon. Shri Ashish Jaiswal, Minister of State for Law and Justice, Government of Maharashtra, Hon. Shri Surendra P. Tawde, President of Consumer Grievance Redressal Commission, Government of Maharashtra, and Dr. Smt. Srushti Neelkanth, In-Charge Principal District and Sessions Judge, Raigad-Alibag.
Inauguration of the Public Works Department’s Divisional Office and bridge projects, Panvel
The inauguration of the new building of the Public Works Department’s Panvel Divisional Office, along with the significant bridge projects — Chipale Bridge on the Panvel-Nere-Maldunge Road and Kondichiwadi Bridge — was held in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. The event was inaugurated at the hands of the Hon. Shri Shivsinhraje Bhosale, Minister of Public Works, Government of Maharashtra. The programme was graced by the special presence of Hon. Member of Parliament Shri Ramsheth Thakur, Hon. MLA Shri Prashant Thakur, and Hon. MLA Shri Vikrant Patil.
Woloo Women Facility Centre Inauguration
With the aim of providing women with a facility center that meets all hygiene standards and is equipped with necessary amenities, an ultra-modern women’s facility center has been set up at Bhisegaon, Karjat, in Raigad district, alongside State Highway 76 near the Bhisegaon Karjat railway station stop. This project has been jointly undertaken by the Public Works Department and the Woloo organization. This self-sustainable facility center includes amenities such as separate toilets for women, a baby care/changing room, a sanitary pad vending machine, a stink detection IoT device & people counter, a janitor monitoring app, CCTV cameras, air fresheners, and a retail store. A nominal fee of ₹5/- will be charged for using the women’s facility center. The income generated from this fee and from the retail store will be used by the Woloo organization to maintain and ensure cleanliness of the facility for the next five years, under an agreement with the Public Works Department
