Our Department
The Public Works Board, Raigad is the backbone of infrastructure development in Raigad district, Maharashtra. Functioning under the Public Works Regional Division, Konkan Mumbai, this office operates through its subordinate offices: the Public Works Division, Panvel; Public Works Division, Mahad; Public Works Division, Alibag; Road Project Division, Mahad; and the Harbour Engineering Division (N), Konkan Bhavan. It is committed to providing citizens with high-quality public infrastructure through construction and maintenance. By combining technical expertise with innovative concepts, the department has created sustainable infrastructure, thereby boosting the district's economic growth and enhancing the quality of life of its citizens.

Road Infrastructure
Construction and maintenance of over 2231.39 km of major state highways, state highways, and major district roads in the district.
Bridges & Flyovers
Construction and maintenance of bridges and flyovers on major state highways, state highways, and major district roads in Raigad district.
Government Buildings
Construction and maintenance of government buildings, rest houses, schools, colleges, hospitals, government offices and court buildings.
Raigad Fort
Conservation, preservation, renovation, and beautification of Raigad Fort.
Coastal Constructions
Construction and maintenance of coastal erosion control embankments and facilities for fishermen along the seashores of Raigad, as well as Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban, Thane, and Palghar districts.
